This theme lends itself to discussions of student motivation and engagement at all levels of education, as well as ways in which increased motivation can lead to increased language development.
We are pleased to welcome Neil Anderson as our plenary speaker. Neil is a professor of English Language Teaching and Learning at Brigham Young University - Hawaii. He is well known for his work in second language reading, language learning strategies, learner self-assessment, motivation in language teaching and learning, and ELT leadership development. Neil has authored multiple books, served as President of TESOL International Association, and is a recipient of the prestigious James Alatis Service Award to TESOL.
Regular registration is open until February 10, 2020.
Late registration begins February 11 and runs until the day of the conference (lunch for late registrants is not guaranteed).
