Building Community in an Online Class
Join us for a virtual workshop on building community in synchronous and asynchronous online classes. Featured presenters:
Mark Wolfersberger, Director, BYU - Hawaii Center for Learning and Teaching (and ESL-teaching veteran), will share ideas for building community in asynchronous online classes.
Kawehi Sellers, Associate Professor, Kapiolani Community College Hospitality and Tourism Education Department (and gamification wizard), will share ideas on building community in synchronous online classes.
In the spirit of the times, this workshop is being offered free of charge to members and nonmembers alike. The workshop will be hosted on Zoom. Workshop access link and password will be emailed to registrants as the workshop date approaches.
