ESL Instructor Position Available in Honolulu, Hawai’i

Central Pacific College, a private language school in Honolulu, is seeking a part-time and/or substitute teacher for the Fall 2017 term.


Part Time and Substitute Teacher Hours can be: 9-11 AM, 11 AM - 1 PM, 1-3 PM, 3-5 PM

Minimum Qualifications: 
- B.A. Degree in a relevant field (English, ESL/SLS, Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics)
- 1-2 years of classroom teaching experience
- Working knowledge of TBLT (Task-Based Language Teaching) and the communicative method and how to apply it in the ESL classroom.

*Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications or do not reside on Oahu need not apply.

TLC for Kids is looking for ESL and JAPANESE teachers.


TLC classes take place 2-6PM (M-F), and 9AM-1PM (Saturday).
We would like to hire highly motivated, energetic, fun persons to lead our classes.

The following are the requirements for this position:

Must be fluent in Japanese. (if you apply for a Japanese teacher position)
Must be a good singer! (we teach through music)

January 6 - March 24

English Language Instructors (Short Term)

January (1 month or 1 week program) or February (1 month or 2 week program) 

Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm  and/or 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm


Requirements:

- B.A. and at least one year of relevant teaching experience and/or an ESL/EFL Teaching certificate or equivalent training and/or experience 
- M.A. or M.A. in progress in TESOL or a related field with two or more years of relevant teaching experience 

-Current BA/MA TESOL, SLS students encouraged to apply

ESL Teacher for Cambridge (FCE/CAE) Course (Honolulu)

Global Village Hawaii, the state's premier private language school, is seeking a qualified and experienced English Language Teacher for our Cambridge Exam Preparation Course (FCE/CAE). Teachers must be creative and engaging, and must be available M-F in the morning. Experience teaching advanced grammar or working with European students is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:


- B.A. in TESL, Applied Linguistics or a related field with a TESL Certificate
- 1 year experience teaching ESL
- Our Cambridge courses run in the morning, so morning availability is required.

Desired Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in TESL or Applied Linguistics
- 2+ years experience teaching ESL
- Cambridge FCE/CAE experience is strongly preferred
